Jekki Oppa.......... I miss you guys.

The last two days in Northern California have been pretty crappy, we are currently having the worst storm this year (I know I know we are only in January ^^)

So that mean I pretty much had nothing to do except hanging around the house cleaning up watching TV, listening to music (Jekki music of course ^^) .

I woke up this morning and like usual I started checking the sites that I visit daily (Izzru's blog, Jama's blog, Kate's blog, Soomp's jiwon thread, Jiwon chinese website, 1n2d Chinese site.) Basically everything listed on the left side of my blog ^^

And I saw that the Chinese 1n2d website had all of Jekki and Jiwon's cds up on MP3 format and I was beyond excited!

My Jekki and Jiwon Collection was pretty complete back in 2002, but my family (dad and mom) was VERY against me liking Jekki (boy band, Korean, distraction from study .... blah blah blah)

I had

Jekki 1,2,3,3.5,4 , 99 live album, blue note. 99 concert 2000 concert 98 concert 17 movie. 2 Jekki album that was released in Taiwan in 99 and 2000.

Jiwon - Never ever single 1st, 2nd, 3rd (I am sad to say after the 3rd album I focused more on my Job than Jekki)

Jaejin - Double J 2nd album Jaejin Live concert vcd.

Sunghoon- Choobok , 2nd album

They would destroy anything Jekki related as fast as they can find it,

I think I am on my 5th or 6th copy of Jekki's 4th album (2 of them is because I listen to it soooo much that all the track would start skipping when I play it, the rest ...... in the trash)

same thing with the rest of the cd. It turned into like a contest between them an me, They would look in my room and see if they can find anything, and I would try to hide and protect my Jekki stuff, ahhh the days of hiding Jekki cd in school locker, behind my closet, under my bed, in my backpack, in my sister's room you name it , I've tried it .

After the "War" with them, I took stock of my Jekki inventory and here is what I am left with

Jekki - 3. 3.5. 4th 99 concert 2000 concert both of the Jekki cd that was released in Taiwan.

Jiwon- 3rd album, 2008 single, 5th album

All of Jaejin Sunghoon and was lost T,T

I finally am able to listen to Jekki's 1st album again today after 7 years and I can't believe they made me cry again... I miss all of them sooo much all of a sudden when I heard their voice, so young, so innocent so full of joy, so Jekki ! They remind me of my high school year, all the stuff I went though for better or worse they were there for me in terms of music, when I hear the first album again, I can see my self walking in my high school going from English class to Math class, I see my self burning the midnight oil studying for my Finals with Jekki music playing in the back ground. I just want to say Jekki Oppa THANK YOU FOR BEING WITH ME FOR 10 YEARS!

I've cried, I've laughed, I've loved, I've gotten heartbroken in the last 10 year and I just want to thank you for your music that have given me strength to go on in life.

So the first time I saw this news I was at work, I scan the article and first thing I saw are the words Jekki fan, I felt like my heart just stopped for a second, I felt soooo much emotions going through my mind at the same time, Happiness, sadness, confusion, gratefulness, proud.

I think i read the article at least 5 time, I even cried a little bit ( I still find it amazing that out of all the guys I know Jekki are the ones that made me cry the most, if any of them were really my friend in real life I think I would have stop speaking to them a long time ago!) It's been a really long time since anyone have made me cry, as I get older and older I am able to hide my emotions better, but Jekki Members have always been able to just get underneath my layer of protection and leaves me feeling like I am back in high school again instead of being a grown women sitting in front of her computer at work ^^;;

Does anyone really remember the exact moment they "FELL IN LOVE" with their Idol?? I kind of do.... and that was close to 10 years ago^^

I was in my English class we were doing a group book reading, the teacher had stepped out, all was quiet in my classroom AND I JUST CAN'T FOCUS ON MY BOOK! someone's music is playing loud enough for me to hear. I looked around and heard the music from behind I turned around and yanked the headphone out of my friend's ear and told him "your music is too loud! I can't focus ! What are you guys listening to anyways" He handed over the cd case that went with the cd and the first thought I had was "Did they spend ANY money making this cd?? and why does everyone on the picture look soooo pissed off/ mad?"

But the moment I plug that earphone into my ears, life changed for me. That was the day I was introduced to Sechskies, Jekki, 6Kies

The first picture that I saw of them is in this style called their "come back " look which true to the word is their look for their title song from the 4th album which was release 09/06/1999 the album it self is also called "Com'Back" and it was the best song that I have ever heard of in my entire life up until that point, I felt like this song blew away all the song that i HAD EVER HEARD OF BEFORE ! AND I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD OF THE LYRIC! Except when they said com'back in English of course ^________________________________________^

The first and only thought I had at the time was "I NEED MORE INFORMATION ON THEM!"

When I flipped through the album booklet one guy caught my attention right away, I can't help but ask my friend "Who is this guy?" "His name is Eun Jiwon and he is the leader of Jekki" "WOW he is HOT!!!!!" "He IS pretty cool, but I am a guy you can't expect me to tell you he is HOT or NOT!" My friend is such a dork ! how can you say Jiwon is not pure hotness???

I blame 50 % of my obsession of Jekki on Jiwonne, because of him I dive head first into the world of the "Internet" also the world of "sechskies" learning how to really use the computer, doing researching on him and Jekki, downloading clips, streaming music, chatting on forum, talking on Jekki websites, begging my parents for faster Internet connection "But dad! the computer is too slow! I need it for school!! ^^" I even learned to navigate Korean websites to look for fan pic and fan video of them.

As you can guess if you read through the whole post, I converted on spot into a Jekki fan, not just a regular Jekki fan either, but a crazy, obsessed, stalking on the Internet the whole night and falling asleep on my key board type of fan.

As time goes on my love and attention spread on to other members of Jekki, 1st to Jaejinne, then to Suwonne, then to Jaeducckie, then to Sunghoonie and last but not least the "Flower boy" of Jekki Jiyongie ^^

And This is the story of how I got to know these 6 amazing guys, they are no longer just an idol group to me, they are forever my first love (Yes all six of them! Yes I am that greedy ^^)
